How to Know if Microblading is Right For You
While microblading can provide you with beautiful natural-looking brows, it is not for everyone.
Microblading is ideal for those with normal to dry skin types. Because it is such an intricate procedure, it is not recommended for those with oily or combination skin types since it does not last long. If you have oily skin or combination skin, combination brows are a much better choice. 6D combo brows is a semi-permanent makeup technique that combines microblading with shading.
This technique lasts much longer than microblading and looks more natural because it blends the 3D hairstrokes with your natural eyebrows . If you have had previous PMU (permanent makeup) or microblading done on your eyebrows, this is also the ideal service since it can cover previous work and color correct poorly done eye tattoos.

What to Expect During a Microblading Appointment
During your microblading appointment with our business, you will first have a consultation to determine the best shape and color for your brows. Our expert technician will work with you to achieve the look you want, while also taking into consideration your natural brow shape and facial features.
Once the shape and color are agreed upon, our technician will numb the area with a topical anesthetic to minimize any discomfort. Then, they will use a special microblading tool to create hair-like strokes on the skin. The session typically lasts about two hours, depending on the condition of your natural brows.
After your microblading appointment, our technician will provide you with instructions on how to care for your new brows. It's important to keep the area clean by washing them daily and avoid rubbing or scratching the area while it heals.

Maintenance and Aftercare
After your microblading session, proper aftercare is crucial to ensure the longevity and appearance of your new brows. Initially, your eyebrows will appear darker and more vivid—this is normal, and the color will soften by up to 30% as they heal.
During the first 10 days, avoid applying any makeup or skincare products directly on your brows. It's important not to pick at or scratch the area, as this can interfere with the healing process and affect the outcome. Minor swelling and redness may occur but should subside quickly.
To maintain your microbladed brows, schedule a touch-up session a 4-week touch up to retouch the color, then an yearly touch up every 12-18 months, as the pigment will fade over time. Following these guidelines will help you achieve the best possible results, ensuring your brows look fantastic and natural for as long as possible!
